etoy presented the first version of a part of the reality installation etoy.INTERNET-TANKSYSTEM at the exhibition "Junge Szene Wien 96" at SECESSION in vienna.
the tank system is the transformation of the virtual etoy.WEBSITE back into real space. the tank system is a type of surreal metaphor for the web space and navigation tools created by etoy during the period from 1994 until 1996.
the exhibited section represented the etoy.DISCO-TANK where the users could listen to the etoy.TRACK "mailme" with connected headphones.
